Explosive is a two player game, in which the players play against one another. The playing field is divided up by a grid. Mines are located under some of the fields and it is the player’s job to locate them and reveal the remaining fields in as few moves as possible.
Some of the revealed fields will display a number, which indicates how many mines are located in the adjacent 8 fields. Uncovering a mine costs the player points.
The aim of the game is to uncover all of the fields and find the mines. The player to achieve this in the quickest time is the winner.
