Ace Solitaire is a single-player card game, which can also be played as a duel in direct competition with a fellow player. The aim of the game is to clear the screen of cards and achieve more points than your opponent.

Points are gained by clicking on cards, which have a total point value of 11. Aces are worth 1 point. The cards 2 to 10 are worth their face value. The player may click on any of the cards on the screen, including those dealt from the deck, providing they are not partially covered by another card. Clicking on the deck itself deals out cards into two free spaces next to it. Further clicks on the deck push the cards into the playing area. The game is over when no further moves are possible or the time has run out.
